Is Kesha Dead?
Kesha is the latest celebrity to find herself being labelled as “dead” through social media sharing sites. The trend started on Twitter late on Saturday evening. Apparently, her fans wanted a unique way to celebrate and publicize her new single, “Die Young”. Her twitter fans took to tweeting “RIP Kesha” and included the hash tag #ripkesha.
Now, the internet is flooded with news story that Kesha is dead. This is not the case. The amount of times we’ve been asked, Is Kesha Dead? is unbelievable.
What’s interesting here though, is that some major news agencies actually covered the story without looking into more detail. These death rumors have been around for quite some time, and almost every celebrity has been dead at one point or another.
Anyway to clarify, Ke$ha isn’t dead.
It doesn’t help that news agencies have been publicizing the story in their fictional way. But, just to put it to rest, the rumor is 100% inaccurate and false.
It just goes to show that social media has the ability to change anything and everything.
